Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
